Basic policy
Mimizuku is a local-first media player. The app does not send media content or transcript text to the developer server for ordinary playback, audio extraction, local transcription, subtitle display, or transcript management.
On-device data
The app may handle media paths, playback position, history, settings, transcripts, subtitles, thumbnails, waveforms, models, logs, and Premium entitlement state on your device or in locations you select.
External transmission
Network communication may occur for model downloads, login, Premium purchase/restore/cancellation, email one-time codes, account deletion requests, external links, and user-initiated diagnostic sharing.
Third parties
Payments may use Stripe or app stores, email delivery may use Resend, and model distribution may use Cloudflare/R2 services.

Account and payment data
When you sign in or use Premium, Mimizuku may process account identifiers, verified email addresses, provider subject IDs, session tokens, Stripe or store customer/subscription IDs, entitlement state, receipts, refunds, disputes, and account deletion request status.
External services
External processing may occur for model downloads, login, email one-time codes, Premium purchase/restore/cancel/refund, support, account deletion, legal compliance, and user-initiated diagnostic sharing. Services may include Stripe, Apple, Google, Resend, Cloudflare Workers/D1/R2, stores, operating systems, and cloud providers.
No sale or ordinary media upload
Mimizuku does not sell user data and does not upload media content, transcript text, or translation text to the developer server for ordinary local playback, transcription, translation, subtitle display, or transcript management.
Retention and rights
Local data remains on your device until you delete it or the app/cache system removes it. Server-side account, payment, entitlement, support, tax, fraud, and legal records may be retained as needed. Contact support for access, correction, deletion, restriction, consent withdrawal, or account deletion requests.
Security and international processing
Mimizuku uses local storage, secure credential storage where available, hashing, signed entitlements, path redaction, and log rotation, but no system is perfectly secure. Cloud, payment, email, and store providers may process information outside your country.
